The ARLINGTON INDUSTRIES LT7A is a 3/4-inch liquidtight conduit connector with an insulated throat, designed for use in electrical conduit systems where moisture resistance and conductor protection are required. The insulated throat bushing protects wire insulation from abrasion at the point of entry, a detail that matters in field installations where conductors are pulled through after the fitting is secured. This connector is sold as a single unit and is installed by licensed electricians during new construction, retrofit, or repair work on conduit runs requiring a watertight termination point.
The LT7A is suited for use with 3/4-inch liquidtight flexible metal conduit or liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit, depending on the connector body style. It is commonly used in industrial, commercial, and residential electrical installations where conduit terminates at enclosures, panels, junction boxes, or equipment knockouts exposed to wet or damp environments. Hardware and electrical accessory applications are the primary use category for this fitting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 3/4-inch liquidtight flexible conduit systems in commercial and residential electrical applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for liquidtight conduit fittings. De-energize the circuit and verify with a meter before working inside any enclosure or panel. Secure the connector body through the knockout and tighten the locknut firmly against the enclosure wall before pulling conductors through the insulated throat. Do not over-tighten to the point of deforming the fitting body or insulated insert.
