The ARLINGTON INDUSTRIES 4502ST is a 1/2 inch, 45-degree flexible conduit connector made for securing flexible metal conduit to enclosures, junction boxes, and panel knockouts. The angled body allows the conduit to exit at a 45-degree offset, reducing stress on the flex and making tight-clearance installations more manageable. Constructed from steel, this connector provides durable mechanical protection at the termination point. It is sold as a single unit and is suited for use in commercial and residential electrical installations where flexible conduit transitions must be made in confined or angled spaces.
This connector is used wherever flexible metal conduit terminates at an enclosure or box and a straight connector would create excessive bend or kink in the flex. Typical applications include equipment connections, motor terminations, and panel feeds where the conduit run approaches from an angle. Electricians working in commercial buildings, light industrial facilities, and residential service work will find this fitting useful in reducing conduit fatigue at connection points.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 1/2 inch flexible metal conduit systems terminating at electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and panels.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for flexible conduit fittings and enclosure entries. De-energize the circuit and verify lockout/tagout procedures before beginning work at any panel or enclosure. Secure the connector locknut firmly against the enclosure wall to maintain a proper mechanical connection. Do not over-tighten to the point of deforming the knockout or connector body.
