The ARLINGTON CED135 is a non-metallic cable entry device with a brush-style cover, designed to provide a clean, finished pass-through point for low-voltage cables, data cables, or wire bundles entering walls, panels, or enclosures. The brush-style insert allows multiple cables to pass through simultaneously while blocking dust, drafts, and pests. Installation hardware is included: two No. 6 screws are provided in the package. The white finish suits standard residential and light commercial wall finishes. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install this device as part of structured wiring, home theater, or network cable routing work.
The CED135 is suited for residential and light commercial applications where cables need to pass cleanly through a wall surface or enclosure knockout. Common install scenarios include mounting at the base of walls for home theater cable routing, at workstation locations for data and AV cables, or at any point where a finished appearance is required at a cable entry point. The brush-style cover accommodates varying cable bundle sizes without requiring a fixed-diameter opening.
Designed as an OEM-style cable entry device suitable for wall-mounted low-voltage cable pass-through applications in residential and light commercial installations.
Installed by electricians or low-voltage technicians during rough-in or finish work. Ensure the wall opening or knockout is sized to accept the device before mounting. No power disconnect is required for the device itself, but any nearby live wiring should be de-energized per NEC guidelines before working in the area. Do not overtighten the No. 6 mounting screws, as the non-metallic body may crack under excessive torque.
