The ARC ABRASIVES 37205 is a resin fiber disc engineered for aggressive material removal on steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. Measuring 4.5 inches in diameter with a 0.875-inch arbor hole, this 60-grit disc combines a resin-bonded abrasive grain with a durable fiber backing and an integrated grinding aid. The grinding aid reduces heat buildup during use, extending disc life and improving cut rate. It is suited for angle grinder use in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and field metalwork. Metalworkers and fabricators rely on this disc for weld blending, surface prep, and stock removal across a range of base metals.
This disc is designed for use with standard 4.5-inch angle grinders fitted with a compatible depressed-center or fiber disc backing pad. The 60-grit designation places it in the medium-coarse range, making it appropriate for initial surface conditioning, rust and scale removal, and weld seam blending on both ferrous and non-ferrous stock. It performs across mild steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar non-ferrous alloys. Sold as a pack with a minimum order quantity of one unit.
Designed for use with 4.5-inch angle grinders equipped with a resin fiber disc backing pad. Suitable for grinding and surface preparation on all types of steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals.
Installation and disc changes should be performed by a qualified operator following the grinder and disc manufacturer guidelines. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the disc. Ensure the backing pad is rated for the disc diameter and grinder RPM before use. Inspect the disc for damage or delamination before each use and never exceed the maximum RPM marked on the disc or tool.
