The ARC ABRASIVES 37130 is a resin fiber disc engineered for aggressive material removal on steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. Measuring 7 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor hole, it runs at 80 grit for a balance of stock removal and surface consistency. The disc combines a resin-bonded abrasive grain with a fiber backing and an integrated grinding aid that reduces heat buildup and prolongs disc life. Metal fabricators, welders, and grinding technicians reach for this disc when prepping weld seams, removing scale, or deburring cut edges on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces.
This disc is suited for use on angle grinders equipped with a compatible 7/8-inch arbor. It performs across residential fabrication shops, commercial metalworking environments, and industrial maintenance applications. The 80-grit rating makes it appropriate for general-purpose grinding where a finer finish pass will follow, or as a standalone step on structural steel and aluminum stock removal tasks. It is sold by the pack with a minimum order quantity of one pack.
Designed for use with 7-inch angle grinders fitted with a 7/8-inch arbor, suitable for grinding and finishing operations on steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metal surfaces.
Resin fiber discs must be installed by a qualified operator following the grinder manufacturer's guard and flange requirements. Always inspect the disc for damage before mounting and confirm the grinder's rated RPM meets or exceeds the disc's maximum operating speed. Wear appropriate PPE including a face shield and hearing protection during operation. Disconnect the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing the disc.
