The ARC ABRASIVES 37129 is a resin fiber disc engineered for aggressive material removal on steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. Measuring 7 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor hole, this disc uses a 60-grit abrasive grain bonded with a resin fiber backing and a grinding aid that promotes cooler cutting and extended disc life. It is used with right-angle grinders in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and on-site metalworking applications. Metalworkers and fabricators are the primary installers and operators of this product.
This disc is suited for surface grinding, weld blending, and stock removal on flat or contoured metal surfaces. The 60-grit designation positions it as a medium-to-coarse option appropriate for initial material removal passes before finishing steps. It performs on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and general non-ferrous workpieces. Sold as a pack with a minimum quantity of one, it fits common right-angle grinder configurations used in both shop and field environments.
Designed for use with right-angle grinders accepting a 7-inch resin fiber disc with a 7/8-inch arbor. Suitable for grinding applications on all types of steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals.
Installation and disc changes should be performed by qualified personnel following grinder manufacturer guidelines and applicable ANSI B11 or OSHA abrasive wheel safety standards. Always power down and disconnect the grinder before mounting or removing a disc. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never exceed the maximum RPM rating marked on the disc or grinder. Use the appropriate guard at all times during operation.
