The ARC ABRASIVES 37127 is a resin fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal on steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. Measuring 7 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor hole, this disc pairs a durable fiber backing with a resin bond and a grinding aid that keeps the grain cutting efficiently and reduces heat buildup. At 36 grit, it is suited for heavy stock removal, weld blending, and surface conditioning. Fabricators and metal finishing professionals use these discs on angle grinders in production and job-site environments.
The 37127 is built for use on structural steel, sheet metal, aluminum, and general non-ferrous metal fabrication. The grinding aid integrated into the disc construction helps prevent loading and glazing when working softer metals like aluminum. These discs are a standard consumable in welding shops, metal fabrication facilities, and maintenance operations where repeated, high-volume grinding is required.
Designed for use on standard 7-inch angle grinders with a 7/8-inch arbor backing pad. Suitable for grinding and blending applications on steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals.
Install onto a matched 7-inch fiber disc backing pad secured to an angle grinder rated for the disc diameter and RPM. Ensure the grinder is powered off and unplugged before mounting or removing the disc. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any cracked or delaminated discs. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating grinding equipment.
