The ARC ABRASIVES 37113 is a resin fiber disc engineered for aggressive material removal on metal surfaces. Measuring 4.5 inches in diameter with a 0.875-inch arbor hole, this 60-grit disc combines a durable resin-bonded grain construction with a fibrous backing and an integrated grinding aid. The result is a disc that cuts quickly and runs cool across a broad range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is a standard tool in metal fabrication shops and on job sites where angle grinders are used for stock removal, weld blending, and surface preparation.
This disc is suited for use on all types of steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The 60-grit designation places it in the medium-coarse range, making it appropriate for rapid material removal and initial surface conditioning rather than fine finishing. Typical applications include deburring weld seams, removing rust or mill scale, and grinding down welds flush with the base material. It is sold by the pack with a minimum order quantity of one pack.
Designed as a standard resin fiber disc replacement for use with angle grinders accepting a 4.5-inch disc with a 0.875-inch arbor hole.
Resin fiber discs are installed and serviced by metal fabricators, welders, and general tradespeople using angle grinders. Before mounting, ensure the grinder is unplugged or the battery is removed, and verify the backing pad is rated for use with fiber discs. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never exceed the maximum RPM rating printed on the disc. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating grinding equipment.
