The ARC ABRASIVES 37111 is a resin fiber disc engineered for aggressive material removal on steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. Measuring 4.5 inches in diameter with a 0.875-inch arbor hole, this 36-grit disc uses a resin bond construction with a built-in grinding aid that reduces heat buildup and loading during use. The coarse grit rating makes it well suited for weld blending, surface preparation, and stock removal tasks where fast cut rate matters. Metal fabricators, welders, and maintenance technicians are the primary users of this disc type.
This disc is used in angle grinder applications across fabrication shops, structural steel work, automotive bodywork, and general maintenance environments. The 4.5-inch diameter fits standard right-angle grinders and is a common size for both bench and field work. The disc performs on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metal surfaces. Its grinding aid formulation is particularly effective when working materials that tend to load conventional abrasive discs.
Designed for use with standard 4.5-inch right-angle grinders accepting a 0.875-inch arbor. Suitable for grinding and surface preparation on steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metal workpieces.
Installation and disc changes should be performed by qualified personnel following the grinder manufacturer's mounting instructions. Always power down and disconnect the grinder before changing discs. Verify the grinder's rated RPM meets or exceeds the disc's maximum RPM rating before use, and inspect the disc for cracks or damage prior to each application. Personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves is required during operation.
