The AQUECOIL hhu-cc-3 is a hydronic heating coil unit designed to work alongside a separately sourced air handler and a hot water supply to deliver residential space heating. The unit extracts BTUs from the hot water source and uses the air handler to distribute heated air through the conditioned space. The cabinet is constructed from rust-proof aluminum with a baked enamel finish and is fully insulated with high-R rigid foam. Licensed HVAC technicians install this unit in residential applications where a furnace or heat pump is not preferred or practical, using it as a low-fuel-cost alternative that draws heat from a gas-fired water heater, boiler, or any sufficient hot water source.

The hhu-cc-3 is sized for 4-5 ton air handlers and mounts directly over the air handler's discharge or return opening in either horizontal or vertical orientations. This flexibility makes it suitable for a range of residential installation configurations. An optional 230-volt or 115-volt circulation pump connects easily to existing air handler wiring and controls. A water-lubricated, low-wattage circulation pump option requires no maintenance. An optional no-lead valve kit with full-port ball valves, bleed ports, and swing check valves is also available for a complete hydronic connection package.
