The AQUECOIL hhu-cc-2 is a hydronic heating unit designed to work alongside a standard air handler and a hot water source to deliver residential space heating without a furnace or heat pump. The unit extracts BTUs from the hot water supply and uses the connected air handler to distribute heated air through the conditioned space. It mounts directly over the air handler discharge or return opening in either horizontal or vertical configurations. The heavy-duty cabinet is constructed from rust-proof aluminum with a baked enamel finish and is fully insulated with high-R rigid foam to minimize heat loss. Licensed HVAC technicians typically handle installation in residential hydronic heating systems.

The hhu-cc-2 is sized for 2.5-3 ton air handler applications and suits residential installations where a hot water source such as a gas-fired water heater or boiler is already present or planned.
