The AQUATHERM 1040160994 is a 6 IN electrofusion coupling designed for joining Aquatherm pipe using electrofusion, a technique where a coupling with embedded heating element wires is slipped over pipe ends. Electrical current is applied, generating heat that melts the PPR of the coupling and pipe together, forming a strong fusion bond. It cannot be used in conjunction with UV pipe.
