The AQUASCAPE 91009 is a submersible mag-drive pump rated at a maximum flow of 1480 GPH and a maximum head height of 16.4 feet, drawing 153 watts at 1.46 amps. Designed for small ponds, fountains, and water features, this pump uses oil-free magnetic drive motor technology to eliminate the risk of pond contamination while delivering energy-efficient operation. The kit includes a three-way diverter valve and a multi-size hose adapter, making it compatible with a wide range of hose and tubing diameters. A pre-filter cage and input strainer sponge protect the impeller from debris including fine sand, reducing maintenance frequency and extending pump service life.
The 91009 is suited for residential water garden and fountain applications where reliable, low-maintenance flow is required. Typical uses include supplying water to pond fountains, spitting ornaments, external biological filters, and decorative waterfall structures. The wide, flat base with rubber feet keeps the unit stable and minimizes vibration noise when placed directly in a fountain basin or pond. Licensed pond and water feature installers as well as experienced DIYers will find this pump straightforward to integrate into new builds or retrofit installations.
Designed as an OEM-style submersible pump for small residential ponds, fountain basins, and water feature systems requiring flows up to 1480 GPH.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pond or water feature technician or a knowledgeable DIYer familiar with low-voltage submersible pump systems. Disconnect and unplug the pump from its power source before performing any cleaning, maintenance, or impeller inspection. Ensure the pump is fully submerged during operation to prevent motor damage from dry running. Verify that all hose connections are secure and that the diverter valve is set to the correct flow path before restoring power.
