The AQUASCAPE 91005 is a submersible magnetic drive fountain pump designed for decorative water features and small pond applications. Magnetic drive technology eliminates mechanical shaft seals, reducing friction and extending service life compared to conventional direct-drive pumps. The unit ships with a 12-foot power cord, providing installation flexibility in a variety of fountain and pond setups. At a flow rate of 400 gallons per hour (GPH), it delivers reliable circulation for small to mid-size water features. Pond and water feature technicians as well as knowledgeable DIYers typically handle installation of this class of pump.
This pump is suited for residential decorative water features including tabletop fountains, garden fountains, small pondless waterfalls, and statuary. The 12-foot cord length accommodates installations where the nearest GFCI-protected outlet may be several feet from the water feature. It is not intended for high-head pressure applications or large-volume pond filtration systems.
Designed as an OEM-style submersible magnetic drive pump for small decorative fountains, statuary, and pondless water features requiring approximately 400 GPH of flow.
Installation should be performed with the pump fully submerged and the power supply disconnected before any servicing or positioning. Always connect to a GFCI-protected outdoor-rated outlet per NEC requirements for water feature equipment. Ensure the intake screen is kept clear of debris to maintain flow rate and prevent motor overheating. Do not run the pump dry, as magnetic drive pumps require water for cooling and lubrication of the impeller assembly.
