The AQUALINE GPN-75-48 is a Schedule 40 galvanized steel pipe nipple sized at 0.75 inches in diameter and 48 inches in length. Galvanized steel construction provides corrosion resistance suitable for water supply, gas distribution, and general plumbing applications. The hot-dip or mill galvanizing process protects the base steel from rust and oxidation, extending service life in wet or moderately corrosive environments. This nipple ships ready to thread into standard fittings and is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on residential and light commercial systems.
This nipple is used in residential and commercial plumbing, natural gas, and compressed air piping systems where a 0.75-inch threaded connection spanning 48 inches is required. Common install scenarios include branch lines, riser extensions, and straight-run connections between fittings or valves. The 48-inch length reduces the need for couplings in longer runs, simplifying layout and reducing potential leak points. Schedule 40 wall thickness meets standard pressure requirements for typical low-to-medium pressure service lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-stock nipple for 0.75-inch Schedule 40 threaded piping systems in residential and commercial plumbing, gas, and compressed air applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) as applicable to the service type. Shut off and depressurize the supply line before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for the intended service — confirm sealant compatibility with gas service before use on gas lines. Inspect threads on both the nipple and receiving fittings for damage before assembly.
