The AQUALINE GPN-40-C is a close-pattern galvanized steel pipe nipple manufactured to Schedule 40 wall thickness with a 4-inch nominal pipe size. A close nipple has no unthreaded center section — the male NPT threads on each end meet at the midpoint, making it the shortest possible threaded connector for a given pipe size. This fitting is used to join two female-threaded fittings with minimal separation. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of nipple in water supply, hydronic, and general-purpose piping systems where a tight, low-profile threaded connection is required.

The GPN-40-C suits residential and light commercial plumbing and mechanical installations.
