The AQUALINE GHXB-2075 is a threaded galvanized steel bushing designed to reduce a 2-inch pipe connection down to a 0.75-inch pipe connection. Bushings of this type serve as concentric reducers in threaded piping systems, allowing two differently sized pipe ends to mate without additional fittings. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for water supply, irrigation, and general plumbing service lines. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction, repair, and retrofit work where pipe sizing transitions are required.
This bushing is well suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, pool and spa plumbing lines, and irrigation distribution networks. It threads directly into a 2-inch female-threaded port and accepts a 0.75-inch male-threaded pipe on the smaller end, making it a common solution for branch line reductions and equipment inlet connections where pipe diameter changes are needed within the run.
Designed as a standard-thread galvanized bushing for use in 2-inch to 0.75-inch threaded piping systems. Consult applicable plumbing codes to confirm material suitability for the intended service.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before threading the bushing into place. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe dope to the male threads per IPC guidelines before making up the joint. Do not over-tighten threaded galvanized fittings, as excessive torque can crack the fitting or damage mating threads.
