The AQUALINE 319-075 is a 3/4-inch copper street 45-degree elbow fitting used to change flow direction in copper piping systems at a 45-degree angle. A street elbow has one male (spigot) end and one female (socket) end, allowing it to connect directly to the hub of another fitting without requiring a short pipe nipple in between. This reduces the number of joints in tight installations. The fitting is sized at 3/4 inches and weighs 0.08 pounds. It is installed by licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters working on potable water, hydronic heating, and general plumbing systems.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial copper piping applications where a directional change is needed in a confined space. The street configuration makes it especially practical in close-quarter installations such as valve assemblies, manifold connections, and equipment rough-ins. It is compatible with standard copper tubing joined by soldering or brazing per applicable plumbing codes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 3/4-inch copper piping systems using sweat (solder) or braze joining methods in residential and commercial plumbing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply and fully drain the line before cutting and fitting. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering or brazing to ensure a leak-free joint. Avoid overheating the fitting during soldering, as excessive heat can affect the integrity of nearby joints or components.
