The AQUADOR 1084 Winter Skimmer Cover Plate is suitable for Hayward SP1084 skimmers and American in-ground pool skimmers. This cover plate replaces the standard skimmer plate to prevent freeze damage, allowing winterization without draining the pool. Made from durable, UV and chemical-resistant plastic, it stays flexible in low temperatures, down to negative eighty degrees Fahrenheit. Its design permits ice expansion and contraction. Installation requires merely a Phillips-head screwdriver to replace the old skimmer plate.
