The APPLETON FSK-1VR is a 1-gang weatherproof device box cover designed for use with FS and FD cast conduit boxes in electrical wiring installations. Constructed from malleable iron with an epoxy powder coat finish, it provides high tensile strength and ductility along with strong resistance to impact and shock. The spring door lid includes a gasket seal and features a single 1-7/16 inch diameter receptacle opening, making it suitable for switch and receptacle wiring devices. It is rated NEMA 3R and carries UL 514A approval, qualifying it for both indoor and outdoor raintight and dust-tight applications where corrosion resistance is required.

This cover is intended for use with FS and FD cast conduit boxes that accept standard flush wiring devices. It is commonly installed by licensed electricians on exterior building walls, industrial facilities, and commercial job sites where weatherproof protection of receptacles or switches is required. The ridge-top construction ensures a positive fit between the cover, gasket, and box. Mounting is via screws directly to the box face.
