The APPLETON EYS31 is an explosionproof conduit seal fitting designed for use in classified hazardous locations where conduit systems must be sealed to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between areas. Built from epoxy powder coated dichromate zinc electroplated Grayloy Iron, this seal-off fitting carries UL listing under UL 886 and UL 1203 as well as CSA C22.2 approval. The EYS31 is rated for Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E, F, and G; and Class III environments. With a 1 inch trade size and dual female threaded connections, it is installed by licensed electricians as part of conduit runs entering or exiting classified areas.

Installation Notes
