The APPLETON ECSK-2023 is a U-Line receptacle and cover assembly designed for use with electrical equipment in hazardous locations. It features a dead front design and a neoprene gasket that seals against the plug or spring-loaded cover to keep out water, dust, and corrosive compounds. U-Line receptacles are designed so that they can't be energized by an ordinary plug.
