The APPLETON 4Q-475T is a 3/4 inch 45-degree insulated liquidtight conduit connector designed for use in wet, oily, or corrosive environments where a secure, moisture-resistant conduit termination is required. This fitting provides a watertight seal at the point where flexible liquidtight conduit meets an enclosure, junction box, or panel knockout. The angled body allows routing in tight spaces or along surfaces where a straight connector would create excessive conduit stress. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of connector as part of code-compliant conduit installations.
This connector is suited for commercial, industrial, and residential electrical installations where flexible liquidtight conduit is terminated at motors, HVAC equipment, pumps, compressors, and control panels. The 45-degree angle is particularly useful when conduit must change direction close to an enclosure entry point, reducing bend stress on the conduit jacket and maintaining a clean, serviceable installation.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with 3/4 inch liquidtight flexible conduit systems in standard electrical enclosure knockouts.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350 for liquidtight flexible metal conduit or Article 356 for liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit. De-energize all circuits before beginning conduit termination work. Hand-tighten the locknut to seat the connector, then snug with a strap wrench or smooth-jaw pliers — do not use serrated tools that could damage the fitting body. Verify the insulated throat is seated properly before pulling wire.
