The APPLETON 4075ST is a 3/4-inch insulated stainless steel EMT connector used to terminate electrical metallic tubing in conduit installations. The insulated throat protects wire insulation from abrasion at the point of entry into boxes, panels, and enclosures. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in wet, outdoor, or chemically exposed environments. This type of fitting is installed by licensed electricians during rough-in and finish electrical work on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects where EMT conduit systems are specified.
This connector is suited for 3/4-inch EMT conduit runs in applications where corrosion resistance is required, such as food processing facilities, wastewater treatment plants, coastal installations, and other harsh-environment electrical systems. The stainless steel body and hardware make it appropriate where standard steel or zinc fittings would corrode prematurely. It is commonly used in both new construction and retrofit conduit work governed by the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fitment connector for 3/4-inch EMT conduit systems in NEC-compliant electrical installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician. De-energize all circuits and lock out power at the panel before beginning any conduit termination work. Secure the connector to the enclosure knockout and tighten the locknut firmly to maintain electrical continuity and mechanical support. Follow applicable NEC articles governing conduit fittings and wiring methods for the installation environment.
