The APOLLO VALVES 94ALF10501A is a 2-piece, full port brass ball valve designed for reliable shut-off service in demanding plumbing, HVAC, gas, fuel, and fire protection applications. It carries a 600 psi CWP pressure rating and a temperature range of 0 to 400 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of media including gas, fuels, and water. The valve features a chrome plated brass ball, a brass stem with a PTFE seat, and PTFE softgoods throughout. The lever-operated actuator allows for fast quarter-turn shut-off. At 1 inch nominal size with FNPT end connections, this valve installs directly into threaded pipe systems without adapters.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a dependable inline shut-off is required on gas supply lines, fuel systems, potable water distribution, fire protection branch lines, and HVAC hydronic circuits. The full port design minimizes pressure drop across the valve, which is especially important on gas and fuel lines where flow restriction can affect system performance. The lead-free brass construction meets requirements for use on potable water systems. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this type of valve.
Designed for gas, fuels, fire protection, general plumbing, and HVAC systems. Suitable as an OEM-style or replacement shut-off valve wherever a 1 inch FNPT full port lead-free brass ball valve is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes, the International Plumbing Code, and the International Fuel Gas Code. Shut off the upstream gas or water supply and depressurize the line completely before installing or replacing this valve. Apply appropriate thread sealant rated for the media type to all FNPT connections. Do not overtighten threaded connections, as excess torque can crack brass fittings or distort the seat.
