The APOLLO VALVES 77F14401 is a full port, two-piece forged brass ball valve with a stainless steel ball and stem, designed for reliable flow control in demanding trade applications. Built on the Apollo 77F-100 Series platform, this valve uses NPT threading on both ends for straightforward inline installation. Premium RPTFE seats and packing deliver a tight, low-friction seal across its rated service range. The blowout-proof stem design adds a critical layer of safety for pressurized systems. A licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician is the typical installer. The valve is 100 percent factory tested before leaving the facility and is manufactured in the USA with ARRA compliance.
The 77F14401 is configured with 3/4 inch female NPT connections on both ends, making it suitable for residential and light commercial piping systems. Approved applications include HVAC hydronic circuits, fuel gas lines, fire protection systems, and irrigation supply lines. The silicone-free assembly makes it appropriate for systems where silicone contamination is a concern. The heavy-pattern forged body and corrosion-resistant materials support long service life in wet, buried, or exposed installations.
Designed as an OEM-style full port ball valve for 3/4 inch NPT piping systems in HVAC, fuel gas, fire protection, and irrigation applications where a forged brass body with stainless steel trim is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes, IFGC requirements for gas service, or IPC requirements for water and hydronic service. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before cutting into any existing line. Apply thread sealant rated for the intended service medium to all NPT connections. Confirm handle orientation is aligned with flow direction and verify shutoff operation before returning the system to service.
