The APOLLO VALVES 77C10101A is a 2-piece, full-port ball valve from the 77C-A series, designed for reliable shut-off service in commercial and industrial piping systems. Built with a bronze body and a chrome-plated brass ball, this valve is rated to 600 psi cold working pressure (CWP) and handles temperatures up to 450 degrees F. The lever-operated actuator provides fast, quarter-turn shutoff. Trim consists of a brass stem and RPTFE seat, with RPTFE softgoods throughout for chemical compatibility. The 1/4-inch FNPT connections allow straightforward threaded installation. This valve is domestically manufactured and carries a 5-year warranty.
The 77C10101A is suited for water service in residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, and general-purpose fluid control applications. It is intended for installation by licensed plumbers or pipefitters working on threaded piping systems. The compact body measures 1.8 inches from inlet to outlet and 1.65 inches from top to inlet center, making it appropriate for space-constrained installations. Note: Per the supplier description, this valve is CA AB1953 listed and is not approved for potable drinking water service in California.
Designed as an OEM-style 1/4-inch FNPT threaded ball valve replacement in water service piping systems where a full-port, lever-operated bronze valve is specified. Not approved for potable drinking water service under California AB1953.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing the valve. Use appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape on FNPT connections and tighten to the fitting manufacturer specifications. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits during service.
