The APOLLO VALVES 76-601-27A is a 3-way, 2-piece standard port diversion ball valve designed for fluid control applications requiring a durable, corrosion-resistant shutoff and diversion solution. Part of the Series 76-600, this valve features a 316 stainless steel body and ball, rated at 800 psi cold water pressure (CWP). The latch-lock lever actuator provides positive positioning, and the investment cast body delivers consistent wall thickness and structural integrity. The valve weighs 0.7 pounds and connects via 1/4 inch female NPT (FNPT) ports on inlet and outlet, making it well suited for plumbing, industrial process, and mechanical system installations.
This valve is intended for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, and industrial piping applications where a 3-way diversion or mixing function is required at a 1/4 inch connection point. The FNPT end connections allow direct threaded installation into standard pipe fittings. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working with water, steam-compatible fluids, or other media compatible with 316 stainless steel and PTFE-based softgoods. The blow-out proof stem design and adjustable packing gland make this valve suitable for systems that require long-term leak-free performance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install 3-way ball valve for 1/4 inch FNPT piping systems in plumbing, hydronic, and light industrial applications using Series 76-600 configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and IPC requirements. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line fully before removing or installing this valve. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads before make-up, and do not overtighten connections into the FNPT ports to avoid stress cracking. Confirm flow direction and 3-way port orientation before final tightening to ensure correct diversion path.
