The APOLLO VALVES 70-104-27 is a 3/4-inch bronze ball valve designed for reliable manual shutoff in plumbing, HVAC, and general piping systems. It features a chrome-plated brass ball and a zinc-plated steel lever handle with a securely attached vinyl grip for positive, low-effort operation. The valve is rated at 600 psig WOG (water, oil, gas) cold service and 150 psig saturated steam, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and residential fluid control applications. A blowout-proof stem design adds a layer of safety under pressure. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers for this type of valve.
This valve fits 3/4-inch pipe installations in residential and light commercial settings. It is well suited for isolation service on water supply lines, hydronic heating loops, compressed air lines, and gas distribution piping where a dependable full-port shutoff is required. The locking handle prevents accidental operation in applications where valve position must remain secured. The bronze body construction offers corrosion resistance in wet and steam environments, and the lever handle allows quick quarter-turn open and close without tools.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ball valve for 3/4-inch pipe systems in residential and commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, and gas piping applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) where relevant. Shut off the upstream supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Ensure pipe threads are clean and properly sealed with an approved thread sealant or PTFE tape before making up connections. Verify that the valve handle is oriented to indicate the correct open or closed position after installation and before returning the system to service.
