The APOLLO VALVES 230l06csp2fc2 is a double offset, high performance lug-style butterfly valve engineered for demanding industrial and commercial piping systems. Built on the Series 230 L platform, this valve features a carbon steel body rated to 300 lb pressure class and a 316 stainless steel disc. The 17-4PH stainless steel stem and disc pin provide corrosion resistance under cyclic load. A worm gear operator delivers precise quarter-turn control, making this valve well suited for throttling and shutoff service in water and steam applications. The inlet-to-outlet face length measures 2.323 inches, consistent with standard wafer-style flange spacing. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors typically handle installation.
The 230l06csp2fc2 is designed for liquid and steam service in commercial and industrial process piping. Its lug-style body allows end-of-line service and simplified flange bolt removal on one side without disturbing the opposite pipeline. The PTFE and graphite fire-safe seat construction meets the demands of installations where fire-safe shutoff integrity is required. At 6 inches nominal, this valve is commonly found in HVAC chilled water and heating water mains, industrial process lines, and building mechanical rooms where reliable bidirectional shutoff at elevated pressures is required.
Rated for water and steam media service. Suitable for liquid and steam applications in commercial and industrial piping systems where a 6-inch nominal, 300 lb pressure class lug butterfly valve is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and the valve manufacturer's instructions. Isolate and depressurize the pipeline and confirm zero pressure and zero flow before breaking any flange connection. For lug-style mounting, use proper flange bolting patterns and torque sequences per ASME B16.5 flange standards without relying on the valve body to carry pipe dead-end load beyond its rated capacity. Inspect seat and disc condition before reinstalling actuator linkage.
