The APEX 80621 is a deep-length, 6-point socket designed for 1/2 inch drive applications. Built from alloy steel with a full-polish chrome finish, it is intended for professional use in automotive, mechanical, and industrial service environments. The 15/16 inch size covers a range of common fastener applications. Off-corner loading geometry directs torque onto the flat faces of fasteners rather than the corners, reducing the risk of rounding under load. Large, hard-stamped size markings keep identification fast when working out of a tray or bag. Licensed technicians and mechanics reach for this socket when clearance depth is needed on recessed or longer fasteners.
The 80621 fits standard 1/2 inch drive ratchets, extensions, and torque wrenches. The deep-length body provides the additional reach needed for fasteners on threaded studs, deep-set bolts, and similar applications found in drivetrain, suspension, engine, and equipment assembly work. The socket measures 3.031 inches in length, making it well-suited for applications where a standard-depth socket falls short.
Designed for use with standard 1/2 inch drive ratchets, breaker bars, extensions, and torque wrenches. Fits 15/16 inch 6-point fasteners in automotive, mechanical, and general industrial service applications.
Installation is performed by qualified mechanics and technicians using standard hand or power drive equipment. Ensure the drive tool and socket are fully seated before applying torque to avoid slippage or damage. Inspect the socket for cracks or wear before each use, and do not use impact-rated tools with sockets not rated for impact service. Follow applicable torque specifications for the fastener and application as outlined in the equipment service manual.
