The APEX 13MM25 is a deep-well, 6-point impact socket designed for heavy-duty fastener work in professional trade applications. It accepts a 1/2 inch square drive and fits 13mm hex fasteners. Constructed from alloy steel and processed through a proprietary heat treatment, the socket is engineered for greater strength, tighter dimensional tolerances, and consistent torque transfer under impact loads. With an overall length of 57.1 millimeters (approximately 2.25 inches), the deep profile gives clearance for recessed or studded fasteners that standard-depth sockets cannot reach. It is suited for use with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric impact wrenches in automotive, mechanical, and industrial maintenance work.
The 13MM25 is intended for professional technicians and tradespeople who need reliable metric impact tooling. Its deep-length design makes it well suited for lug nut removal, suspension work, and other applications where bolt protrusion or fastener recess depth rules out a shallow socket. The 6-point contact geometry reduces fastener rounding compared to 12-point designs, which is especially important under high-torque impact conditions.
