The ANVIL INTERNATIONAL INC 8700138350 is a close-pattern black pipe nipple in 1/2 inch nominal pipe size. A close nipple has threads running the full length of the fitting with no unthreaded center, making it the shortest possible threaded connection between two fittings or valves. Black steel construction gives this nipple the heat and pressure resistance required in gas distribution, steam, and hydronic heating piping systems.
