The ANVIL 500373345 is a FIG 290 series weldless eye nut designed for use in pipe hanger and support assemblies across commercial and industrial mechanical systems. Manufactured from forged steel with a galvanized finish, this right-hand-thread eye nut accepts a 1-1/4 inch rod with a No. 3 thread. It carries a rated load of 9,500 pounds at 650 degrees F and 7,440 pounds at 750 degrees F, making it suitable for high-temperature overhead support applications. Domestically produced, it meets the dimensional and load requirements expected in engineered hanger specifications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors install this component as part of certified pipe support systems.
This eye nut is used in residential and commercial piping installations where threaded rod hangers support pipe runs from structural members. Typical applications include HVAC piping, plumbing supply and drain systems, fire protection piping, and process piping where load-rated, temperature-rated support hardware is required by code or specification. The forged steel construction and galvanized coating provide corrosion resistance suited to both interior mechanical rooms and exposed environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard component for threaded rod pipe hanger assemblies using 1-1/4 inch diameter rod with No. 3 right-hand thread.
Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, plumbers, or mechanical contractors in accordance with applicable codes including ASME B31 piping standards and project-specific hanger engineering drawings. Verify that the supporting structure and threaded rod assembly are rated to meet or exceed the required load before torquing fasteners. Do not exceed the rated load values for the installation temperature. Inspect galvanized coating for damage prior to installation and address any compromised areas to maintain corrosion protection.
