The ANVIL 4352107060 is a 1/4-inch manual ball valve built for reliable on/off flow control in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. The three-piece body is constructed entirely of 316 stainless steel, making it suitable for corrosive fluid service and applications where carbon steel fittings are not appropriate. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seats and seals provide low-friction operation and chemical resistance across a wide range of media. The locking lever handle prevents accidental actuation, adding a layer of safety in service environments where inadvertent shutoff or opening would be a concern. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers for this valve type.
This valve is suited for residential and commercial installations where a compact 1/4-inch shutoff is required. Common applications include instrument isolation, small-bore gas or liquid lines, and branch shutoffs in hydronic heating or cooling systems. The standard port design is appropriate where full flow capacity is not required and system pressure drop is acceptable at the valve body. Both end connections are female NPT (FNPT), accepting standard male-threaded pipe or fittings on each side.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation shutoff valve for 1/4-inch female NPT threaded piping systems in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) where relevant. Shut off upstream supply pressure and depressurize the line before removal or installation of any valve. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads per standard practice before making up connections. Do not over-tighten threaded connections into the valve body, as this can damage the FNPT ports.
