The ANVIL 4351012240 is a 1-piece stainless steel steam service ball valve designed for demanding steam and high-temperature fluid applications. Built with a 316 stainless steel body and handle, it features a standard port configuration and FNPT x FNPT end connections in a 1-1/2 inch pipe size. The Graphoil seat seals are rated for steam service duty, and the locking lever handle allows the valve to be secured in the open or closed position to prevent accidental actuation. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, steamfitters, and pipefitters in commercial and industrial piping systems.
This valve is suited for steam service lines in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and process piping systems where 1-1/2 inch threaded connections are required. The FNPT x FNPT configuration makes it compatible with standard female-threaded pipe fittings. The standard port design provides reliable shutoff for steam, condensate, and related high-temperature media. Applications include boiler supply and return piping, steam distribution headers, and zone isolation valves in commercial steam heating systems.
Designed for use in 1-1/2 inch FNPT-threaded steam and high-temperature piping systems as an OEM-style or replacement shutoff valve where 316 stainless steel construction and Graphoil seals are specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, steamfitter, or pipefitter in accordance with applicable mechanical and plumbing codes. Shut down and fully depressurize the steam system and allow piping to cool before removing or installing any valve. Apply appropriate thread sealant rated for steam service to FNPT connections and verify joint integrity before returning the system to service. Engage the locking lever mechanism after commissioning to maintain the desired valve position.
