The ANVIL 4351011500 is a 1-piece, manual ball valve engineered for steam service applications. The body and handle are both constructed from carbon steel, with a stainless steel finish coating and a Graphoil seal rated for the high-temperature, high-pressure demands of steam systems. The Nova seat material provides reliable shutoff integrity across the rated working pressure range of 2000 psi (138 bar). The standard port design and FNPT x FNPT end connections make this valve a straightforward drop-in for threaded piping assemblies. A locking lever handle allows the operator to secure the valve in the open or closed position, an important safety feature in steam environments. Licensed pipefitters and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this valve.
This valve is suited for steam service lines in commercial and industrial mechanical systems where high-pressure shutoff capability is required. The FNPT x FNPT end connections accept standard NPT threaded pipe per ASME B1.20.1, making it compatible with common 2-inch threaded steel pipe systems. It is appropriate for use in boiler distribution piping, process steam lines, and similar high-pressure fluid handling installations where a manual isolation point is needed. The locking lever is particularly useful in settings where inadvertent valve actuation must be prevented.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 2-inch threaded steam service piping systems using FNPT connections per ASME B1.20.1.
Installation of steam service ball valves should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable mechanical and plumbing codes, including ASME B31.1 for power piping. Depressurize and fully isolate the steam system before removing or installing any valve. Apply appropriate thread sealant rated for steam service to all NPT connections. Verify that system operating pressure and temperature do not exceed the valve's rated limits before returning the line to service.
