The ANSELL rig011r095 is a Class 0 electrical insulating glove rated for maximum use voltages of 1000 volts AC and 1500 volts DC. Built from natural rubber latex throughout, this light-duty glove provides dielectric protection for electricians and utility workers performing low-voltage switching, metering, and live-circuit inspection tasks. At 11 inches in length with a beaded rolled and straight cuff, it covers the wrist and lower forearm to reduce incidental contact exposure. The seamless lining and red colorway make this a recognizable, field-standard glove for Class 0 applications.
This glove is intended for light-duty electrical work where the circuit or equipment voltage does not exceed 1000 volts AC or 1500 volts DC. Typical applications include residential and light commercial electrical panel work, meter socket service, and low-voltage switching operations. Size 9.5 fits a medium-to-large hand and is worn as a standalone insulating layer or beneath leather protector gloves per ASTM and OSHA requirements for rubber insulating equipment in energized work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and service glove for Class 0 electrical insulating glove applications meeting ASTM D120 and OSHA 1910.137 requirements for rubber insulating equipment used in energized electrical work.
Electrical insulating gloves must be inspected before each use for cuts, punctures, ozone deterioration, or embedded contaminants that could compromise dielectric integrity. Gloves should be air-inflated or rolled to check for leaks prior to donning. Leather protector gloves are typically required over rubber insulating gloves when working on or near energized parts per OSHA 1910.137 and applicable NFPA 70E arc flash guidelines. Gloves must be stored away from heat, UV light, and petroleum-based contaminants to preserve rubber integrity.
