The ANSELL RD96-T-92-111-06 is a disposable protective coverall engineered for multi-hazard environments where chemical exposure, liquid splash, and flash fire risk are present. Constructed from flame-retardant-treated polyester weighing 4.95 oz, the garment incorporates a PVC barrier layer that resists penetration by liquid chemicals. A storm flap with double zipper closure seals the front entry against splash and particulate ingress. Stitched and taped seams reinforce the protective barrier at every seam line. The bright red color aids visual identification on busy job sites. Licensed trades and industrial safety personnel install and issue this garment as part of a site PPE program.
This coverall is suited for use in contaminated environments and chemical handling operations, including filling, blending, and charging of raw materials; transferring liquids and solids; opening and draining pumps, valves, or lines; loading and unloading of process equipment; and raw material sample collection. The size 2X-Large fit accommodates workers requiring larger sizing in industrial and chemical processing settings. It carries CE Category III designation, indicating suitability for protection against irreversible or fatal risks. Compliance with EN ISO 13688:2013, EN 14126, EN 1073-2, and ASTM F1671 makes it appropriate for biohazard and chemical splash scenarios.
Designed as a single-use protective coverall for chemical handling and industrial contamination control applications where Type 3-B, Type 4-B, and Type 5-B protection levels are required. Part of the ANSELL CFR-Model 111 series.
Donning and doffing should be performed by a qualified safety professional or in accordance with the facility hazmat PPE program. Power down or isolate chemical processes before entering the work zone whenever possible. Inspect the coverall for seam integrity and zipper function before each use; discard any garment showing tears, punctures, or compromised seam tape. Single-use only — do not launder, repair, or reuse after chemical exposure.
