The ANSELL GR40-T92-215-02 is a disposable dual-hazard coat apron engineered for chemical resistance in demanding industrial environments. Part of the Alphatec 4000 Model 215 series, it is constructed from a multi-layer non-woven barrier laminate fabric at 0.34 mil thickness with welded seams to resist liquid and chemical penetration. At 67 inches in length and 33 inches in width, the apron provides extended torso and leg coverage. It secures with a ties-in-back and hook-and-loop closure for a secure, adjustable fit. Licensed contractors, industrial hygienists, and hazmat-trained technicians install and wear this garment during chemical handling and decontamination tasks.
This apron is suited for use in chemical processing facilities, industrial maintenance settings, hazardous material handling operations, and similar environments where splash and liquid exposure is a concern. The dual-hazard rating addresses both chemical and biological exposure risks. It is sized Small and packaged in quantities of 20 units per case, making it practical for site-wide PPE programs in both commercial and industrial settings.
Designed as a single-use chemical resistant apron within the Alphatec 4000 Model 215 series, suited for standard industrial PPE programs requiring CE Category III and EN 14126 compliant garments.
Donning and doffing should follow the facility hazmat or PPE protocol established by the site safety officer. Power down or isolate chemical processes before entering the work zone whenever possible. Inspect the apron for tears or compromise prior to each use and discard immediately if integrity is in question. Disposal must comply with applicable local regulations for chemically contaminated single-use PPE.
