The ANSELL 70-718-18 is a cut and puncture-resistant protective sleeve designed to guard the forearm and wrist in environments where sharp edges, glass, sheet metal, or cutting tools are present. Built with HPPE (High-Performance Polyethylene) yarn, this sleeve meets ANSI A3 and EN ISO B cut protection ratings, making it suitable for moderate-to-high cut-hazard tasks across industrial and trade settings. At 12 inches in overall length and a universal fit, it works across a wide range of hand and arm sizes. The sleeve is silicone-free, which is important in applications where silicone contamination could compromise adhesion or surface finishing.
This sleeve is well-suited for tasks including applying sealer, assembly and inspection of components, cutting glass, equipment repair and maintenance, panel work, press shop operations, sheet metal handling, and touch-up work. The yellow color provides basic visual identification on the work floor. It is commonly used by technicians, fabricators, glaziers, and maintenance professionals in both light industrial and field service environments where arm protection is required but full-length gloves are impractical.
Designed as a universal-fit protective sleeve for general industrial, trade, and maintenance applications requiring ANSI A3-rated cut and puncture protection for the forearm.
Sleeves should be inspected before each use for snags, cuts, or degradation that could compromise protection. Pull the sleeve fully over the forearm so it sits securely without bunching at the wrist. Replace immediately if the fabric shows cuts, holes, or signs of wear. Follow your facility or jobsite PPE program requirements when selecting and combining hand and arm protection.
