The ANSELL 70-128-18 is a cut and puncture-resistant protective sleeve designed to guard the forearm and wrist during high-risk hand and arm operations. Constructed from Kevlar, this 18-inch sleeve delivers cut resistance and heat resistance in environments where blades, sharp edges, or elevated surface temperatures are routine hazards. It features a 10-gauge knit construction with a cut-resistant knit wrist and three available widths for a personal fit. Color-coded overedging indicates the width. The sleeve is sized X-Large and colored golden yellow for visibility. It is intended for installation and use by maintenance technicians, assembly workers, glaziers, press shop operators, and other trades professionals working with sharp or abrasive materials.
This sleeve is suited for a wide range of industrial and trade applications including cutting glass, press shop operations, assembly, equipment repair and maintenance, applying sealer, screwing and seizing structural components, sheet metal handling, panel work, and inspection of components. Its flexible Kevlar construction makes it practical across both light-duty inspection tasks and heavier repetitive-motion operations where cut and heat exposure are consistent concerns. The narrow wrist design and adjustable fit options allow it to work alongside gloves without bunching or interference.
Designed as an OEM-style protective sleeve for use in industrial, trade, and maintenance environments requiring forearm cut and puncture protection. Part of the ANSELL Series 70-128.
Protective sleeves of this type are donned before beginning any task involving sharp edges, blades, or elevated surface temperatures. Inspect the sleeve for cuts, abrasions, or worn areas before each use and remove from service if damage is found. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and employer PPE policies when selecting and fitting arm protection. Sleeves should be paired with appropriate cut-resistant gloves for full hand and arm coverage.
