The ANSELL 668-09 is a mechanics-style cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A6 and designed for trade and industrial environments where hand protection against sharp edges, fasteners, and rough surfaces is required. The shell combines goatskin leather with HPPE, Thinsulate, and polyester lining for a balance of dexterity, warmth, and durability. At 9-7/8 inches in overall length and a numeric size 9 (Medium), the glove fits a wide range of hand sizes. This is a uncoated, unlined-palm design with a leather grip surface, making it a solid choice for mechanical assembly, HVAC service, and general trade work where tactile feedback matters alongside protection.
The 668-09 is suited for residential and commercial trade applications including HVAC installation and service, plumbing rough-in, electrical work, and mechanical assembly tasks. The goatskin and TPR back construction handles abrasion from sheet metal, conduit, and pipe, while the HPPE and Thinsulate lining provides cut resistance and thermal comfort in cooler work environments. The slip-on cuff style allows for fast donning and removal on the job. The glove is sold as a pair and is appropriate for both male and female technicians.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-purchase work glove in the Ringers R668 series, sized Medium (numeric size 9), and suitable for general trade and mechanical applications requiring ANSI/ISEA A6 cut protection.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or degradation that may compromise protection. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards and employer PPE programs when selecting and wearing cut-resistant gloves. Replace immediately if the shell or lining shows visible damage. Store away from direct sunlight and sharp objects to preserve material integrity.
