The ANSELL 56-512 is a disposable chemical-resistant bib apron designed for workers handling solvents, oils, and corrosive liquids in industrial, maintenance, and trade environments. Constructed from a neoprene and vinyl composite at 17 mil thickness, it provides a durable barrier against chemical splash and oil exposure without the bulk of a reusable apron. At 45 inches in length and 35 inches in width, it provides full front-torso coverage for most adult workers. The sewn edge finish adds tear resistance along the perimeter. Maintenance technicians, chemical handlers, and industrial service workers are the primary installers and users of this PPE item.
This apron is suited for light to moderate chemical splash environments where disposable PPE is preferred for contamination control or job-site efficiency. Typical applications include HVAC refrigerant handling areas, plumbing chemical drain work, pool chemical service, and general industrial maintenance where acids, bases, or petroleum-based fluids are present. The non-cleanroom ISO class designation means it is intended for standard industrial and trade settings rather than controlled manufacturing environments.
Designed as a disposable bib apron for general industrial and trade use where chemical and oil splash protection is required in non-cleanroom environments.
This item is donned and doffed by the end user and does not require installation by a licensed trade professional. Inspect the apron for tears or pinholes before each use. Dispose of the apron after exposure to hazardous chemicals per applicable local waste-handling regulations. Do not reuse if the material has been compromised by chemical contact.
