The ANSELL 48707110 is a cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant knit work glove from the EDGE 48-707 series, designed for trade and industrial professionals who work around sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, or jagged components. Built from a 13-gauge blend of polyester, fiberglass, spandex, nylon, and HPPE, the glove achieves an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level of A6 and a Puncture Resistance Level of 4. A polyurethane coating covers the palm, delivering grip and tactile sensitivity. Overall length is 10.625 inches. Licensed HVAC techs, sheet metal workers, plumbers, and electricians handling conduit, pipe, or duct work commonly use this glove class.
This glove is suited for both residential and light commercial applications where workers handle sharp-edged materials during installation or service. The 2X-Large sizing accommodates larger hands, and the hand-specific construction ensures a secure, low-bulk fit on each hand. The knit cuff with light blue trim allows quick size identification in a job-site glove bin. The sandy grip surface maintains control on wet or oily surfaces, making it practical across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction trades.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use work glove within the ANSELL EDGE 48-707 series. Sized as 2X-Large (Numeric Size 11) and suitable for unisex fit in that hand size range.
This glove is worn by the technician, not installed in a system. Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or compromised shell integrity. Replace immediately if the shell or coating shows damage that could reduce cut or puncture protection. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection requirements (29 CFR 1910.138) when selecting gloves for specific hazard levels on the job site.
