The ANSELL 48707090 is a hand-specific, knit-style cut and puncture resistant glove from the EDGE 48-707 series, designed for trade professionals who work around sharp edges, abrasive surfaces, and puncture hazards. The glove shell is constructed from a 13-gauge blend of polyester, fiberglass, spandex, nylon, and HPPE, delivering ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A6 and Puncture Resistance Level 4. A polyurethane palm coating with a sandy grip surface provides tactile sensitivity and secure grip in dry and light-contact work conditions. Sized Large (numeric size 9) with an overall length of 9-7/8 inches.
These gloves are suited for residential and commercial trade environments where cut and puncture exposure is a daily risk. Typical applications include sheet metal handling, HVAC fabrication, electrical conduit work, mechanical assembly, and general construction tasks. The knit cuff style and palm-only coating preserve finger dexterity for precision work such as pulling wire, fitting pipe fittings, or handling sharp ductwork edges. The EN 388 rating of 4X43F confirms performance across European mechanical hazard testing as well, making these appropriate for cross-border job site requirements.
Designed as an OEM-equivalent replacement glove within the ANSELL EDGE 48-707 series. Sized Large (numeric size 9), unisex fit, for general-purpose cut and puncture protection across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trade applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or compromised shell integrity. Gloves rated A6 cut resistance are appropriate for high-hazard cut tasks but do not provide electrical arc flash or chemical splash protection. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards and employer PPE programs when selecting and using cut-resistant gloves. Replace gloves when visible wear, holes, or coating degradation are present.
