The ANSELL 48707070 is a hand-specific, knit-style cut and puncture resistant glove from the EDGE 48-707 series. Built on a 13-gauge shell of polyester, fiberglass, spandex, nylon, and HPPE, it meets ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A6 and Puncture Resistance Level 4. The palm is coated in polyurethane with a sandy grip surface for reliable handling of sharp-edged materials. Sized at small (numeric size 7) with an overall length of 9 inches, this glove is designed for trade and industrial workers who handle sheet metal, glass, stamped parts, or other high-cut-risk materials on a regular basis.
This glove suits tasks where a high ANSI cut level is required without sacrificing dexterity. The knit construction with palm-only coating keeps the back of the hand breathable, making it appropriate for extended wear in light manufacturing, HVAC sheet metal work, glazing, electrical panel work, and similar applications. The red knit cuff aids in quick visual identification. It is sold as a single pair (Pkg Qty 1) and is unisex in fit.
Designed as a hand-specific replacement glove in the ANSELL EDGE 48-707 series, sized small (numeric size 7), for use in applications requiring ANSI/ISEA A6 cut resistance.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Gloves should be sized correctly to prevent bunching or slippage that reduces dexterity and grip control. Replace immediately if the coating or shell shows visible damage. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards and your site safety program when selecting and using cut-resistant PPE.
