The ANSELL 48703070 is a cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant work glove designed for trade and industrial professionals who handle sharp materials, stamping operations, or abrasive surfaces. Built on a 13-gauge polyethylene and fiberglass blend knit shell, these gloves carry an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level of A4 and an ANSI/ISEA Puncture Resistance Level of 4, making them suitable for medium-to-high-risk hand protection tasks. A split leather palm pad adds grip, cushioning, and additional cut and abrasion protection at the contact zone. These gloves are rated ANSI Abrasion Level 5 and meet EN 388:2016 4X43D standards.
The 48703070 is sized Small (mens size 7, womens size 6) and ships as a pair, making it a direct fit for smaller-handed workers on assembly lines, fabrication shops, HVAC sheet metal work, pipe handling, and general construction tasks where dexterity must be maintained alongside hand protection. The gray knit back and padded palm construction allow good dexterity and flexibility in dry and slightly oily conditions. These gloves are not rated for electrical arc, blood-borne pathogen barrier, or high-visibility applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use safety glove for workers requiring ANSI Cut A4 and Puncture 4 hand protection in industrial, construction, or trade environments.
These gloves are donned and inspected by the end user before each task. Inspect for tears, worn leather, or compromised knit before use. Replace immediately if the shell or palm pad shows damage that reduces protective coverage. These gloves are not a substitute for voltage-rated or chemical-resistant PPE where those hazards are present.
