The ANSELL 43217110 is a full-fingered welding glove from the Series 43-217 line, built for TIG welding and grinding applications. The glove is constructed from split-grade leather and synthetic leather with a goatskin back and gauntlet-style cuff. At 14.25 inches overall length and a 5.875-inch cuff, it provides extended forearm protection during overhead and close-tolerance weld work. Kevlar thread stitching throughout the glove resists burn-through and seam failure under heat exposure. The lining adds a layer of thermal comfort for extended wear. This glove is sized for men at 2X-Large and women at X-Large.
This glove is intended for professional welders and fabricators performing TIG welding and grinding tasks in industrial, manufacturing, and fabrication shop environments. The gauntlet cuff and full-fingered design make it well suited for situations requiring both dexterity and forearm coverage. The straight thumb design supports natural hand positioning during torch manipulation and material handling.
Designed for TIG welding and grinding applications where a full-fingered, gauntlet-cuff leather glove is required.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for worn seams, holes, or degraded material that could reduce protection. Gloves should be worn as part of a complete PPE ensemble including appropriate eye protection, a welding helmet, and flame-resistant clothing as required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.252 for welding, cutting, and brazing operations. Do not use gloves that show signs of burn-through or moisture damage. Replace immediately when protective integrity is compromised.
