The ANSELL 298131 is a palm-coated, puncture-resistant work glove from the Series 97-002 line, designed for trade and industrial professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. The glove shell is constructed from a blended knit of nylon, spandex, stainless steel, and Kevlar at an 18-gauge weave, providing an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level of A3 and an ANSI/ISEA Puncture Resistance Level of 2. The palm features a foam nitrile dipped coating that delivers an enhanced grip surface on both wet and dry materials. Rated ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 4 and EN 388 rated 4X21B, these gloves meet ANSI and EN ISO 21420:2020 standards.
These gloves are suited for general mechanical work, light assembly, material handling, and maintenance tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities trades. The seamless lining and knit-back construction reduce hand fatigue during extended use. The foam nitrile palm coating provides tactile feedback and grip on tools, fittings, and conduit. A knit cuff with Velcro closure keeps the glove secured at the wrist during active work. The unisex sizing and breathable construction make them practical for a broad range of technicians and service professionals.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-stock work glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A3 cut resistance and palm-coated nitrile grip in an X-Large fit.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or shell damage that would compromise cut or puncture protection. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection and must not be used as primary protection for live electrical work. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection requirements and employer PPE programs when selecting and using cut-resistant gloves on the job.
